Totally In Like With Gap Jeans...Again

Nicole likes this picture – She says that I look way too goth in all the others she took for this blog post. That’s mostly why I decided to use it. The real story though is that I can’t get enough of the Gap Real Straight Jeans I’m wearing here.

I used to shop Gap back in the 80’s, back when everyone else probably did too. I remember buying a lot of khakis and pockets tees because of the great ad campaigns that made them look so minimal chic. Looking back now, of course, I had no business wearing slouchy pocket tees or khakis – they did nothing for me whatsoever! Instead of channeling Diane Keaton (still one of my personal style icons) in Annie Hall, I ended up looking as though I was badly in need of a tailor.

It’s a different story now with these jeans – I swear. First of all, they're  affordable (priced somewhere around $70) and flattering. The lesson? You don’t have to pay $200-300 for a good pair of blue jeans. Also, after swearing I’d never be one of those people who run around town in blue jeans and flip flops, I have officially become one of those people. #Whatever
