My RI Life: Meet The Maker & Creative Behind That Marvelous Furniture You Keep Seeing

If you were in attendance at any of last weekend’s StyleWeek NE shows, you probably found yourself captivated by the colorful custom furniture in the Accessories Showcase, created by Rhode Island native Briel Delmonaco and her company Uniquely Chic Vintage.

The seating areas made up of her whimsical creations were wildly popular spots for photos, selfies, and the like on all three nights of those shows.

No Doubt, You’ve Seen Her Work Before…

I have been making custom furniture for clients all over the world for about 7 years, including pieces for Louis Vuitton, Nickelodeon, Glade Brand Products, nationally known hotel chains and other businesses, as well as for a number of private customers.

Our pieces have been featured in movie/set productions, on tv shows (most recently, The Bachelorette when they filmed in Newport), and in commercials.

Our sister company, Uniquely Chic Vintage Rentals, has been operational for the last 5 years, offering unique vintage/antique custom furnishings for events, weddings, and photoshoots.
