The Gourd-geous Newport Pumpkin Patch You'll Want To Go See This Weekend
Hello, Pumpkin!
Yep, the patch at Trinity Church on Queen Anne Square in Newport is indeed up and running, open weekdays 12noon until 6pm and weekends from 10am to 6pm.
Unless you’re from NPT or you’re there on a pretty regular basis, you may not be aware that Trinity even has pumpkins.
I know I wasn’t…until last fall.
Welcome To The Patch
You see, we were there on a photoshoot with Lisette Rooney Photography, and I was pleasantly surprised.
It was soooo cute and charming!
Hay, it makes for a marvelous backdrop for your fall phone photos. (Psst — They do ask for a voluntary donation if you are taking snaps there, jus sayin.)
Or shop the impressive selection and take a few gourds home with ya.
Or go all out fall in New England and buy a cup or two of hot cider and a treat at the refreshment stand that’s set up in the back.
This next part is KEY: Go on ahead and pop the collar on that tweed blazer or barn jacket (and don’t forget your sunnies) because it is definitely worth driving over the (Pell) Bridge for.
They’ll also have live music (I’m guessing it’s going to be weekends only) and there’s talk about a costume parade too.
Also, there are plenty of eateries in the vicinity where you can wine and dine immediately following. (I like Perro Salado, Bar Cino, and the Salvation Cafe.)
*Trinity Church is located at 141 Spring Street in Newport.
As always, if you motor over this month, please do let them know you found out about it via Patty J and PattyJ.com.
