Text The Iced Coffee Fan In Your Life Because This South County Cafe Has 21 Flavors On Tap

See this content in the original post

The first time I spotted TLC Coffee Roasters in West Kingston, it was because of the ginormous wooden replica of a coffee cup that used to be their sign. Maybe you remember it too? The eye-catching cup faced Kingston Road and if you happened to be driving by, you simply could NOT miss it. I remember taking a photo for social, and then going on my way.

After sharing it to my personal Facebook, though, a friend of mine who at that time used to make the rounds of all the local cafes and restaurants in the area (not a blogger or anything…he and his wife just enjoyed going out) sent a message saying I needed to go back and actually sample the coffee, pastries. And that’s how I got hooked on their coffee and treats, their John Wayne roast and lemon poppy seed muffins (my primary tells me I should be avoiding seeds…oh well, yolo) in particular.

have you been yet?

When I went back recently, however, the old, ovesrsized coffee cup sign was gone. The new, sleeker one announces to the world - or more specifically, all you four-season iced coffee drinkers out there - that they do in fact have 21 flavors on tap. (**GASP**) On any given day, those 21 might include one or all of the following: French Toast, Caramel Banana, Sea Salt Caramel Mocha, Mocha, French Vanilla, Maple Walnut, and Swiss Chocolate Almond. I mean, who else locally can boast such a selection, sooo many choices?

but first, iced coffee

Not gonna lie, initailly I did miss the other, more kitschy sign, but I feel like the updated version really gets the word out to ice coffee (In real life, I say ice coffee. What’s so wrong with that? Also, Google tells me it’s okay, so...) fans who happen to be driving by unaware.

Also, this is the ideal off-the-radar gem (You won’t see every Rhody based food or style blogger updating from here necessarily, but that’s probably because they don’t know how awesome it is!) for a coffee date or meet up with the iced java lover in your life. If they’re accustomed to drinking the same ole, same ole at area chains that shall remain nameless, they will most definitely be wow’ed and you’ll be a kind of hero going forward.

Find TLC Coffee Roasters at 3362 Kingstown Road, West Kingston, RI.
