I a-PEACH-iate it so much!

Guys, it’s stone fruit season and I’m expecting a box of fresh, yummy peaches from the folks at The Peach Brothers , who btw will be making two stops in Rhode Island (one in July and another in August ) during their upcoming summer tour of the East Coast, any minute now.

Yes, with proper social distancing and masking, you’ll be able to get your hands on some summertime sweetness for snacking, desserts, breakfast (more about that in a sec), or grilling (ditto).

Sure, you can can them (see what I did there), but what fun is that?

I want more immediate gratification and that means enjoying them asap.

Yes, there’s classic peach cobbler and maybe pie, but yawn (helloooo, predictable) and did you know that you can also make peach toast?

So…Ditch the avocado (for right now anyway) and enjoy some ripe, juicy peach slices atop that multigrain toast. Add in some cream cheese, butter or yogurt and a cute plate (which is essential) and BOOM, you’ve got your next Insta worthy brekkie, brunch plate or July lunch.

Also, I’m intrigued by the idea of grilling them.

I just have to find someone in the vicinity who’s ready, willing, and able to fire up their grill for me.

Grilling definitely is NOT in my wheelhouse, but at some point in the not too distant past I had sampled some grilled peaches (probably at a restaurant) as a side dish and they were marvelous!

I’ll be sharing more over on Instagram soon and strongly recommend scoping out The Peach Brothers’ site and Insta for updates and complete details about their upcoming Rhody pop-ups.
