We Visited This New "Weekend" Patio On Providence's West Side And Wow
I Am All About SUN Days…
It’s finally warm enough to sit and sip outdoors comfortably, without having to schlepp blankets along or bundle up Michelin Man style. (I say this as someone who has been doing the al fresco thing almost the entire winter.)
Sure, nowadays with everything that’s been going on since last February and March, there are beaucoup options when it comes to cheersing and clinking glasses with either your main squeeze or that fave friend this patio season (or szn as the kids say).
I mean, there are so many restaurants and cafes that have set up spaces for open air wining and dining.
That’s all well and good, but we made a beeline over to a pretty magical one yesterday, a standout that I want to highly encourage you to bookmark for your next Saturday or SUNDay out in Providence.
Whether you’re planning on brunch or lunch at one of the big three nearby on Broadway (that’s Nick’s, Julian’s, and The Grange) or not, drinks crafted by the spiffy and talented team of mixologists from Little Bitte Cocktails on the patio behind the Bloom Collective on Westminster — formerly Loie Fuller which closed for good last spring — are an absolute must this month.
Little Bitte been mixing up their signature garden-to-glass cocktails, garnished with different edible petals or flowers, in RI for ages. (Full disclosure, we were treated to some delicious drinkies, but I would be singing their praises even without that.) They are not doing it for the ‘Gram. That being said their page on the app is lovely!
Also: They have mocktail options on their garden-patio-menu, so truly something for everyone.
And the dynamic woman behind Little Bitte was there setting up the space on Sunday and adding all of the special details (fresh flowers, eye catching displays) that her biz has become known for.
Find them at the Bloom Collective every Sat. and Sun. from 12-5, weather permitting, starting this month. For additional updates check out their Instas — @LittleBitteCocktails @BloomCollective.
*Bloom Collective is located at 1455 Westminster Street in Providence.
As always, if you take a spin over after reading this, please do let them know you heard about them here via Patty J and PattyJ.com.
