The Lovely Cafe In Richmond For Perking Up Your Late Summer Coffee Rotation
A friend of mine first recommended I check out Alaina’s Coffee + Kitchen in Richmond last summer, but like a lot of people, I was a wreck, especially when it came to venturing outside of my little “bubble.”
This summah, we (Trisha who had done the recommending originally and took some of the pics below, Karen who is a friend from my Nordstrom Providence days, and yours truly) finally ventured over to Alaina’s for some coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and photos.
First off, there’s something so peaceful and picturesque about the Richmond (Washington County) area during the summer and fall.
Add in the fact that Alaina’s in and of itself is DARLING and viola, you have another sweet coffee shop to add to your 2021 Rhode Trip Check List.
You can grab a hot or iced coffee (so many choices), a breakfast sammie or other prepared foods, and they also have a greenhouse in the back with twinkle lights where they host special dinners. (Psssst…I saw one was vegetarian and that has made me, no joke, a fan for life.)
The out-of-doors space has plenty of seating, real and faux flowers, and other charming Insta Worthy backdrops, including a wall sign which regulars gravitate to for their IG photo ops (I unfortunately don’t have a decent pic of said sign, apologies all around).
Alaina’s is located at 93 Kingston Road in Richmond, Rhode Island.
For the latest, give them a follow over on Instagram @AlainasCoffeehouse.
As always, if you take a spin over after reading this, please let them know you heard about them here via Patty J and PattyJ.com. Thanks a bunch!
