A Visit To This Olive Oil Shop In Wickford Feels Just Like A European Vacay

See this content in the original post

The ImPressed Olive which specializes in gourmet olive oils and balsamic vinegars isn’t new. They’ve actually been open for 3 and a 1/2 years. What they did recently, though, was relocate to a primo location in Wickford Village — the first floor of the awe-inspiring Gregory Building (aka, the Post Office Gregory Building).

Yesterday, I finally stopped in to this enchanting, family-run business to sample some of their oils and if you haven’t yet, I highly recommend adding them to your late summer rotation: The sheer variety of different blends (many are ORGANIC) from all over the globe will have you doing double takes. Perhaps even triples!

And if (like me) everyone you know is traveling overseas this summer, it’s pretty much the closest thing to a European holiday.

I mean, when it comes to the olive oils, we’re talking everything from small batch Italian (a Nocellara Del Belice for Sicily) and Greek to unexpected flavors from Spain (GARLIC), California (multiple herb infused like a Basil as well as a Rosemary option), and Peru (there’s an organic BUTTER, people !!!).

As far as the flavored balsamics (which are apparently supposed to quite good for digestion), I have never seen anything stateside like their selection. I spotted so many delicious ones including a champagne, a lemon cucumber, and even a fig version from Italy. Just heavenly!

Whether you’re shopping for yourself (imagine impressing your lunch or dinner guests with some of these oils) or for a host or hostess gift for the epicurean in your circle, you will want to bookmark this shop for September.

And the best part? They’re more than happy to help you sample as many flavors as you want.

Find The ImPressed Olive at 99 Brown Street in the heart of Wickford Village (North KIngstown).

As always, if you go after reading THIS, please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
