The Bakery Cafe In Westerly For Your Next Brunch, Lunch Or Pizza Pie

See this content in the original post

Have you been to Nana’s in Westerly yet?

We finally made it over to their cozy space on High Street for brunch and gotta say that it certainly lived up to the hype and glowing reviews that I stumbled upon a while back. (Had written something earlier this season about wanting to go and how marvelous it sounded…open since March 2022, it’s a spin-off from their original location in Mystic, Connecticut)

For starters, they make everything from doughnuts and bagels to pizza crust using sourdough which is supposed to be easier on the ole digestion which intrigued me.

Well, by the time we got there, after 12:30, they were all sold out of the donuts.

That was a bummer but the bagel with cream cheese that I managed to get my hands on was one of the best that I’ve ever eaten. (Seriously!)

Their coffee and tea menu is impressive too — and they have oat milk. (Still waiting for everyone to hop on the oat milk train, lol.)

For those wishing to indulge, their brunch cocktail menu looked tempting and you may see me singing the praises of one or two real soon, wink.

The hubs and I also feasted on egg sandwiches, a brekkie classic no matter how you slice it, on their signature sourdough.

This bakery cafe fills up fast, so I recommend booking a table in advance to avoid any disappointment (especially if you’re driving from more than 20 minutes away).

I was so tempted to leave with one of their famous pizza pies and am still regretting my decision not to.

Guess that’s another reason for a return visit this season.

Find Nana’s at 82 High Street in Westerly, Rhode Island.
