We Visited This New Spot For Cocktails In Providence And It Was Wonderful

The name that’s on everyone’s lips right now…

It’s Clementine Cocktail Bar, right across from Trinity Rep. (Ran into someone at the Providence Flea last Sunday and that’s the first thing she asked me, had I been to Clementine yet.)

This incredibly stylish micro bar downtown is a marvelous spot for pre or post show (Trinity, PPAC or the AMP) drinks with your favorite person.

I say this because I was there last night with a good friend — after Come From Away at PPAC (which was SUPERB) — and we were both beyond impressed.

This small space, formerly occupied by Birch, is big on ambiance and thoughtfully mixed sips.

It’s the sort of establishment you’d expect to stumble upon in Boston or NYC, sooo BIG CITY.

KG ordered their Hot Buttered Rum which was perfecto for a chilly night in PVD.

I got their signature Clementine Fizz and it was DELIGHTFUL, especially for a lightweight like me.

(PS — They have a special guest bartender coming up, too, btw.)

They were quite busy for a Tuesday evening in the capital city.

They are open 4pm to 11pm Tuesday thru Saturday.

I say that because you may actually need to go at 4 to get a seat, lol.

Don’t sleep on this one, friends — it’s THE PLACE to be right now, srsly!

Find Clementine at 200 Washington Street in Providence, Rhode Island.

As always, if you go after reading this, please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
