We Had A Wonderful Dinner At This Restaurant In The Heart Of Providence

See this content in the original post

Of course we started with the calamari because the Bluefin Grille is known for seafood (sustainable and fresh caught), and the hubs is ALWAYS onboard when it comes to fried squid, shrimp cocktail, a lobster roll or clamcakes.

This terrific looking gem in the capital city — that happens to be located on level one of the Providence Marriott — features an extensive menu of cocktails and mocktails (more about THAT in a second), local brews, small plates, and mains that you will absolutely love.

In addition to that calamari, we enjoyed their hummus and brushetta (fresh mozz, tomato, egglant) plates as starters. I mean, I didn’t want to share with the hubs, but they are perfect for SHARING with either your significant other or favorite foodie if you are feeling generous.

Also had an alcohol-free cocktail from their NEW menu of sips…their Tequila Guava is made with non-alcoholic tequila, lime juice guava syrup, and pineapple juice. (Okayyy, I actually had 2, lol. So tasty.)

For our entrées their SEAFOOD SCAMPI was calling my name (turns out it’s one of their most popular dishes and I know why, quite scrumptious) and my husband happily dug into a plant-based burger with avocado and fries. (For the record, I did help myself to some of his fries and they did not disappoint.)

Their take on papardelle bolognese was, much to my surprise and delight, an incredible veggie based dish that I would go back for in a heartbeat. (My vegetarian and vegan friends, please take note of THIS.)

And do save room because their desserts are splurge-worthy.

I was gaga over the apple tart with ice cream AND the flour-less choc cake (chocolate lovers do not sleep on this one).

Finally, our wait person, and bartender, Isaias elevated the experience by being super friendly and helpful without hovering over us. (Many thanks to Isaias and the entire team there for a fun-tastic night of food and drink.)

If you’re looking for a new spot for a quiet, cas dinner with your beloved or friend group, definitely check them out this season.
