From The Latte And Pastry Menu At Apothica Cafe In Cumberland

This enchanting cafe on Dexter Street in Cumberland (Rhode Island) open since 2020 got its start serving up a variety of specialty coffee, tea, and matcha drinks.

Now flash forward to Spring 2023, and applause, applause…Apothica Cafe has expanded.

They now offer a delectable selection of plant-based baked-in-house goodies (their Crogel, a cross between a bagel and a croissant, is pictured below and is a new favorite) as well as breakfast and lunch items including the creamy and delightful Mac & Cheese I sampled the other day. You won’t believe that it is completely dairy free. Yes, it’s THAT yummy.

I also had the opportunity to dip into an upcoming brunch special, a vegan Eggs Benedict that will knock your socks off. Even the carnivores in your circle will enjoy.

And they haven’t forgotten their beverage roots.

Their latte menu is a must try for any coffee fans out there. They are thoughtfully made, tasty, and lovely to look at. (Make sure your phone is charged and ready for food fotos, wink.)

If you’re a coffee lover who maybe wants to step outside your comfort zone, you’ll want to try their wildly popular Strawberry Matcha (see photo below), an iced London Fog, or one of their Mushroom Coffees. I kid you not when I say one of the owners made me the best cup of mushroom coffee I’ve ever sipped.

In addition, the space itself is beyond cute (plants in the window, darling indoor seating and more).

They also feature a different local artist every month and stock a curated selection of locally made merch. PS — I bought one of the Sacred Flame Candles on my way out.

A cold (or hot) drink and a snack or meal here is just the thing to perk up your week.
