We Had Breakfast In Cranston At This Latin Inspired Restaurant

I hadn’t been in ages…a recent return visit to this diner style breakfast and lunch spot on Rolfe Square, however, did not disappoint!

Mesa Cafe & Grille in Cranston is a pleasant and whimsically decorated eatery (with colorful murals and twinkle lights throughout) in Cranston that specializes in CLASSIC casual food and beverages with a Mexican flair.

The hubs and I were greeted and seated immediately — and at that point we started pouring over the ginormous menu.

He was in a pancake kinda mood and not wanting to copycat, I opted for one of their egg breakfasts.

The portions are not skimpy (yay…we were HUNGRY) and everything tasted so darn good.

If you’re looking to lean into something spicier, they have quite a few dishes for you, including their signature Mesa eggs or salad (both are topped with pico de gallo), the Aztec salad, and their Heuvos Racheros.

Our wait person kept coming back to refill my coffee cup, and we also noticed how engaged the staff was with customers in booths and at the counter.

Left our server a generous tip and we are definitely planning to go back real soon.
