My mother-in-law is quite the cook and as a rule, doesn’t frequent a lot of local restaurants. (Since she makes everything from scratch — including pizza pies, soups, cookies, breads, and beyond — I feel like she is indeed someone who knows truly great food.)

I say this because she was raving the other day about somewhere I’d never heard of.

The spot that she was bragging about?

None other than Geo’s on Atwood Avenue in Cranston.

Open around two years, this casual eatery has been racking up tons of great reviews in real life and online, too.

My mom-in-law is by no means alone in her adoration then!

Regulars and newbies alike are in love with their home fries, housemade chicken soup, veggie omelets, crab cake bennys (their arugula and avocado Benedict too), and their strawberry chicken salad to name a few.

Update: Talked to my dental hygienist this morning and she says that Geo’s makes the fluffiest and tastiest omelet she’s ever eaten.

Super fans also say it is immaculate (SUPER clean, lol), which of course I love ❤️ to hear.

Moreover, in addition to breakfast and lunch, Geo’s has actually started serving dinner on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, so plan accordingly.

Find Geo’s Rstaurant at 641 Atwood Avenue in Cranston, Rhode Island.
