A Delicious Spot In Smithfield, Rhode Island For Lunch Or Supper

See this content in the original post

I recently had a late lunch at this great looking restaurant on George Washington Highway in Smithfield.

The sleek modern decor and extensive menu say big city experience and eats. (It’s somewhere you would expect to stumble on in PVD, NPT, or Boston.)

And the staff who waited on me the other day was so helpful and friendly.

I opted for their veggie burger with a side of their chopped slaw because I don’t eat meat, but if you do they have plenty of plates, large and small, that you’ll enjoy.

Also had an inspired sip, a lavender lemonade.

But back to the handhelds…you can build your own hamburger with about a gazillion choices when it comes to breads, patties (including that made in house meat-less one that I had), add-ons, and sides.

That whole process of crafting your own could, in and of itself, be the FUN in a nite out with your significant other.

They change up their menu seasonally, but regulars rave about their pizza bar, gourmet sandwiches, creative cocktails, and the vegan buffalo dip.

Also plenty of parking out front which you definitely don’t always find in an eatery situated in a metropolis.

Find Blackies at 280 GW Highway in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
