The Darling Picnic Boat In Newport That You Can Book This Summer

See this content in the original post

Yesterday in Newport

When SEA NEWPORT reached out to me a while back about a picnic onboard their charming boat, the Tabasco, I jumped at the chance.

The private charter is 1.5 magical hours of sips and bites (prosecco from Gooseneck Vineyards & a charcuterie from Bellevue Boards), iconic views (we cruised by Clingstone, Hammersmith Farm, Castle Hill and MORE), and interesting commentary (local history) from the talented crew. Pssst…The captain is a NPT native who’s been on the water since he was “like” 5 years old.

It b.y.o.b. too, so you can bring along any other beverages you and your inner circle might want.

The boat which has this great retro flair as it dates back to 1979 can accomodate up to 6 passangers (which of your friends or fam would you want to invite?), and you can even bring your dog along which is simply Pup-TASTIC!

I really wanted to get a closer look at Clingstone (aka, the House On The Rocks), and they were only too happy to accomodate. Of course, they’ll tailor your cruise to your specific interests. I mean, how NICE is that?

It feels like having your own boat, if only for an afternoon, without any of the hassles.

We all chatted afterwards (me, Tom & my friend KG) and thought this would be marvelous for a date night (also a group date because hello six people = 3 couples), a proposal (tres romantic!), or even a friend day out.

And we’re still walking on air about the whole experience.
