We finally went to Dos Mundos, a Latin and Asian fusion eatery on Starline way in Cranston, for late lunch the other day and boy, am I glad we did!

I imagine it’s a popular takeout spot (quite a few people were popping in to pick up orders the other day) but the interior has a lot of pizzazz (a colorful mural as well as a color tv on the wall if you want a break from your phone, lol) and comfy seating if you want to stick around to enjoy your food.

Their menu is a great mix of both latin and asian inspired eats, including many Cambodian and Guatemalan dishes.

We went the latin route with the SHRIMP TACOS (so fresh, light and flavorful) and BURRITOS (Tom had the Chicken & Beef Burrito, loved it, there were no leftovers).

The refreshers are also delightful sips that you won’t wanna skip.

Aa far as asian cuisine, you should know that regulars rave about their lemongrass chicken, noodles, egg rolls, and more.

But I’m really here to talk about their Strawberry Crunch Tres Leches Cake.

A superb marriage of sweet and crispy, veritable dessert perfection!

Don’t say Strawberry Shortcake. It’s beyond that.

As a matter of fact, the hubs is still talking about it.

You simply must try it when you GO.

Hands down it’s one of the best cakes we’ve eaten in recent memory.
