My RI Life: Providence Native & Very Stylish Girl Phoebe Stenberg
When we were looking for people to feature, we knew we had to spotlight Phoebe Stenberg. She's a Providence native*, born and raised on the East Side, who has a knack for finding the most covetable jewelry, shoes, jeans, bags, and more. And she knows what flatters her. All that makes her the girl everyone looks at, when she gets to the restaurant or party, to see how she's put herself together, what exactly she's wearing. In addition to her enviable style, Phoebe's also hilarious, bright, a devoted coffee drinker, and a pizza connoisseur. Here are the secrets to her 'fabulous RI life'.
Restaurants:
Coffee Shops: Starbucks, The Shop on Wickenden (Coffee, tea and gluten free desserts), Coffee Exchange, Tealuxe on Thayer for the absolute best chai in the state

Pizza: My number one indulgence and it better be good if I'm looking to blow some calories. Favorite spots are Flatbreads, Caserta's, Al Forno, Providence Coal Fired Pizza
Date Night: Gracie's (The chef tasting menu with wine pairings is a must for special occasions.), Al Forno, New Rivers, Los Andes
Healthy Spots: Wildflower Vegan Bakery, B.Good, Olga's Cup & Saucer
Shopping:
Favorite Stores: J.Crew, Urban Outfitters
Jeans: Anthropologie, TJMaxx, Wrentham Outlets specifically Off Sak's 5th Avenue & Seven for all Mankind
Signatures: Accessories are my weakness, mostly bags and jewelry. I get almost all of my statement jewelry at J.Crew with other pieces from Urban Outfitters & Anthropologie. Most of my bags are Marc Jacobs b/c the leather is so soft and supple. Also love J.Crew Italian leather and Tory Burch.
Beauty/Wellness:
I am very loyal to Dermalogica products since that is what my facialist at Alayne White Spa uses. (Ask for Jenna she is AMAZING!)
Favorite treatments at Alayne White: Delicious (a 2 hour treatment that includes a "best facial you will ever have", a "spassage" and a multi peel); Everything But The Kitchen Sink (similar to the delicious, only with a full body scrub, instead of the spassage, and an oatmeal mask)

Best brushes: MAC has the absolute best makeup brushes. An affordable option that is similar to MAC is Sigma brushes.
Tips & Tricks for a Fab Prov, RI Life:
- Upgrade your restaurant choice but go out less often: No offense to any Applebee's lovers out there, but you will not catch me dead in a chain restaurant on date night. I would rather spend a few hundred on an amazing meal every few months than waste my money on frozen junk more often. Support Providence's (and RI's) local businesses!
- Wait for the discount: Whenever I have my eyes on a new bag, necklace, or pair of jeans I keep my eyes open for discount codes, coupons, and store sales. Most stores offer discounts every few weeks and being patient pays off. If the item is gone, it probably wasn't meant to be.
- Stay out of the sun: I slather my entire body with sunscreen (My fav is Neutrogena Dry Touch.) before I even leave the house. When I'm in desperate need of a tan, I hit up Glistening Goddesses for a perfect air brushed spray tan - A beautiful glow minus the wrinkles.
- Quit your complaining! Everyone always says they want to "get out of Rhode Island". What I now realize after living out of state, is that we live in one of the most beautiful areas in New England with some of the best restaurants, beaches, and scenery around! Why else would T.Swift have a house here?!?
*Ok, so Phoebe is studying nursing out of state right now, but she's still a RI'er at heart. #RIPride
