The Micro Bakery On This Mapeville, Rhode Island Farm Is Pretty Sweet

All Photos Courtey Of Us & From Our 1st Visit To Mapleville

I’m a native Rhode Islander (born and raised on the West End of Providence) and honestly had no idea whatsoever that there was a place called Mapleville in our fair state.

Not until I happened upon a place called Mapleville Farm online, did I start to do a little digging and find out that it is in fact a village (lil Rhody has a whole lotta villages) in the town of Burrillville.

Wikipedia makes mention of a post office, fire station, and library, but if you’re looking for a solid reason to take a Rhode trip over on a Saturday or Sunday, it’s definitely the rustic and small batch bakery stand at this sibling-owned 2 acre farm.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that their baked goods are tippity top shelf.

In the past, we’ve picked up some made-on-the-premises cookies, blueberry bread and jams (a peach and a blueberry) and as someone who loves the idea of homemade but has zero desire to bake bread or cook up jams on a stove top, I am only too happy to support their efforts and patronize their budding biz.

Also, the first Sunday of every month is “Croissant Sunday” which sounds magnifique, and you can even sign up for one of their Breadbox Subscriptions !!!

They even have bouquets for sale.

PS — Since these photos were taken they have built a GREENHOUSE on the property, and that’s where they set up the bakery, fresh flowers, etc.

Find Maple Farm (aka, Ben’s Bakery) at 544 Victory Highway in Mapleville, Rhode Island.

And do check out their Instagram for updated hours (they are only open on Saturdays & Sundays) and menus @MaplevilleFarm.
