The New Restaurant In North Kingstown That Everyone's Talking About

Brunch Yesterday at Caffe Milano

We had brunch yesterday at the new Caffe Milano (formerly Snoopy’s Diner) on Quaker Lane in North Kingstow, and it was fantastic!

We arrived right before the lunch rush to find that this vintage dining car has been transformed into an Italian inspired bistro. Think leather chairs and antique-looking overhead lighting, both of which lend an old world charm.

The owner/proprietor greeted us and seated us immediately. (Not a stretch to say here that he is Italian.)

That’s when we started perusing the BRUNCH menu, deciding to split three dishes — the stack of 3 pancakes, the veggie omelet and the firenze style Benedict.

As far as beverages go, they offer coffee, espresso, juices, and cocktails. Tom had a juice but I stuck with water. Would love to see them add some teas this season because I know there are beaucoup tea drinkers out there.

We adored the egg dishes (lotsa spinach in the Benedict, the potatoes were next level, and the veggie omelet was overflowing with fresh vegetables) but the pancakes were good too (nice and light).

Don’t sleep on this charming Italian eatery. I mean, all your friends are gonna be checking in this autumn and winter.

The husband and I will definitely go back for dinner at some point in the not-too-distant future.
