Cupcakes never really go out of style. 

They're classic — the sweet equivalent of a Chanel Speedy bag, a pair of vintage Red Tab Levi’s, or a great animal print shoe or topper.

And Silver Spoon Bakery on Main Street in EG has been baking up some of the most incredible ones since 2011.

I made several return visits to their darling space last week and no surprise, their cupcakes are BETTER THAN EVER!

Yours truly enjoyed every flavorful bite, yummmmm.

Another nice touch? They serve the cupcake in a lovely antique looking plate. (See photo below.)

Also, while there, I spotted a steady stream of people stopping in to pick up to-go boxes. (See photo above, love that their signature light blue boxes are designed to keep your order from tumbling around once you walk out the door and thus, camera ready.)

The interior is also darling with a cheerful tea room (don’t miss the tea cups on the ceiling that lead into a long shelf of tea pots AND that ginormous spoon, all in the sitting room) meets Eiffel Tower (oui, oui) aesthetic

Making it the perfect destination on any given afternoon this Spring.

Or on a Friday or Saturday night for a meet up with your friends…because they also have a delicious drink menu (martinis, spiked coffees) as well as wines by the glass.
