My RI Life Revisited: Organizer, Closet Designer & Author Lauren Silveira

Originally from Cranston, I have always been a classic type A when it comes to organization. Owning a professional organizing/closet design business here in RI, Organized for Life, is a dream come true. But more importantly, I love helping others find simplicity within their lives, starting with their space, which is why I started my business. I am currently studying feng shui interior design and I love blogging and writing about my love for all things home. Then there are some Netflix marathons that I occasionally fit in to balance things out a bit.

Favorites

These days I'm exploring Northern RI when I'm out and about, and keep asking myself where has this portion of RI been hiding all my life? My new favorite fall routine is heading to the Blackstone River Bike Path in Lincoln. The foliage is stunning. Then making my way to Phantom Farms in Cumberland for some chai and a piece of their mini pumpkin pie. Saturday afternoon lunch at Adeline's Speakeasy Kitchen Bar followed by some Spiced Apple wine at Diamond Hill Vineyards runs a close second for a fun Saturday afternoon.

I'm currently obsessed with every holiday decoration at Home Goods, and don't mind one bit that they started to display everything before Halloween. A new gem I've recently found, that is great for unique holiday gifts, is Slow Molasses Country Shoppe and Gifts in Cumberland.

House + Home = Love

I wrote House + Home = Love simply because I wanted to share in my love for home, and express how our connection to home can strongly impact our lives. This guide explores simplifying, organizing, finding inspiration and using visualization to create a space you love. If you're looking for tips, you will find them. If you're looking to be inspired by home, you'll find that too. It's a guide meant to help others embrace their space. Home is where our story begins, and I wanted to capture the magic that can unfold beneath the walls that surround us.
