A few sunny days and I’m suddenly feeling really optimistic about Spring 2019…

Now, that being said, everyone in your circle’s probably flocking to the Tulip Farm in Johnston this week (or posting about Baby Sussex, now named Archie Harrison as of a few moments ago), but after those Insta worthy photos have all been saved to camera roll (Tbh, in my experience, the only people outfitted in Wellies and bright yellow rain slickers and such there are probably IG style bloggers.), think about the festival of lights coming up this weekend at your favorite Rhody village.

This Friday night it’s the first official Wickford Harbor Lights of the year - with tons of shimmering lanterns on the water and a live soundtrack for your listening pleasure. (Huzzah!) So change up your plans, grab the kiddos, and maybe even bring along mom for an early kickoff of your Mother’s Day celebration. Because hellooo, affordable family fun!

Get dinner at your go-to restaurant on Brown Street or do the food truck thing (Everyone’s ears perk up with those two words!). You’ll also find shops open later (Be on the lookout for special discounts.), local artists, carriage rides, and much more.
