The New Diner In Pawtucket Where You'll Want To Breakfast With Your BFF's This Weekend

Yesterday it seemed as though everyone, including the Mayor of Pawtucket, was posting about opening day at the newly refurbished, and relocated, Miss Lorraine Diner at the Lorraine Mills on Mineral Spring Avenue in that city. After checking their hours and seeing that they were open for business until 9pm, I was determined to make it there. So, after my late afternoon lash fill appointment, we hightailed it over in rush hour traffic for some supper and provided the light was on our side (Did someone say golden hour?), snaps for social media.

Okay, I love a classic diner and if you do too, you’ll want to motor over to 560 Mineral Spring asap. Everything’s bright and shiny and I think David Lynch would approve wholeheartedly. I mean, you almost expect Norma or Shelly to come flying out of the kitchen with a glass pot of hot coffee in hand. The service was friendly and our wait person was on point, especially when it came to making sure my coffee cup was always filled to the brim. I was also pleased to see a Beyond Burger option, along with a nice assortment of salads and pizzas. Craving more traditional diner fare? They got you, in a big way, so don’t despair because that’s the majority of their menu.

Breakfast and lunch service takes place inside the actual diner car. If you drop in for dinner as we did, however, you’ll be ushered into a cozy connecting room (SURPRISE!) with a bar and an Insta Worthy sign on the far wall that reads Miss Lorraine Diner (difficult to capture with a smart phone, just throwing that out there) that’s part of the main mill building.

We arrived before peak dinner hours, around 4:30-ish, so we were seated right away, but not so sure it’s going to be that easy to get a booth or counter seat come this Saturday and Sunday. I feel like every IG food blogger and their bestie is going to be making a beeline for MLD in the coming days, so plan accordingly if you want to go this weekend.
