The Cutest Cafe With Sweet Water Views For Your Next Afternoon Coffee Break

Thought I knew Warren pretty well.

There are old classics like the Coffee Depot and Delekta’s where you can, last I checked, still get yourself a nice coffee cabinet. (Nope, I’m not talking about a piece of furniture.)

Then there’s the newer wave of neat places like The Peyton Co. (for all your clean beauty and makeup needs), Federal Hill Pizza (my friend Pam swears by their Nutella pie), the Galactic Theater (which during the pandemic has pivoted from live music to eats like ice cream), and Ink Fish Books.

After getting rained out last weekend, though, we finally made it over to a certain cafe overlooking the water I’ve had my eye on this summer, one I had no idea even existed until this year that I think you’ll be equally as excited about.

Also, it hasn’t been overrun by Instagram food bloggers just yet.

From the first photo above I guess it’s pretty clear I’m talking about Cafe Water Street, situated behind Muse jewelry store and next to Trafford’s restaurant (which sadly is temporarily closed after sustaining a great deal of fire damage back in early 2019).

The Cafe is completely delightful with a comfortable outside set-up where you can plant yourself this month or next and enjoy a hot or cold beverage as well as some satisfying baked goods. (Full Disclosure: I love carbs!)

When we were there on Sunday, the hubs had a decaf hibiscus tea which he liked very much and I had a corn muffin and a London Fog, an Earl Grey tea latte made with Vanilla and warm milk.

There were also a few people there reading or working on laptops.

All in all it’s a marvelous spot for your next coffee date or late brekkie with someone in your COVID crew you still enjoy talking with.
