There's A Terrific New Spot For Coffee, Apple Cider, & Sweets In Pawtucket, And Wow
The weather sure has fast forwarded to fall, guess it’s really time to stash the open toe slip ons…
We didn’t go apple picking this past weekend, but if the images in my feeds are any indication, so many people I know did, taking rhode trips over to various local orchards. (Everyone seems to have one they are partial to. Maybe it’s a holdover from childhood, who knows?)
We did partake of some hot apple cider and tea and sweet treats from a brand new cafe in Pawtucket that is checking all the boxes when it comes to menu (‘tis the season for ac sips and donuts and hearty bites like their pb and banana breakfast toast), technology (online ordering is where’s it’s at this year for sure and I appreciate a seamless experience) and aesthetic (their exterior and interior are both Insta worthy and they also have neat stickers, buttons and tees, featuring their logo, that I’d absolutely sport).
Inspired by the owners’ love of music (notes, get it?), the best of coffeehouse culture and of course, excellent java and eats, Notes Coffee Co. opened the doors to their stylish space — where everything is “served with soul” — over the summer. They have indoor and outdoor seating or you can get your coffee (and more) to go.
I’ve been meaning to get over to their brick and mortar for the past few weeks and was ecstatic to finally make it there to pick up an order and sample some of their most popular items early Sunday afternoon.
Now I’m adding it to my list of Pawtucket food and restaurant favorites, along with Garden Grille, Wild Flour, and (how could I forget?) the Cauliflower 65 at Rasoi.
Also it’s a fantastic way to get that fall foodie experience (aka, the hot apple cider, the apple cider donuts) without having to actually roll up your sleeves, throw on some rugged footwear and get yourself to a farm rn.
