We Visited This New Gluten-Free Bakery In Johnston And It Was Fab
Fall Is Sweet, Enjoy A Treat
There’s a new destination for gluten and nut free baked goods, breads, and (woot, woot) pasta.
I recently received a tip about Three Wishes Gluten Free Bakery (thank YOU), so the hubs — who has a severe and life threatening allergy to tree nuts — and I motored over to Greenville Avenue in Johnston yesterday to give it a whirl.
There used to be another bakery in that space (that we had visited a few years back) and we were pleasantly surprised to see what the owners of Three Wishes have done with it.
The now-beautifully-refurbished white and purple storefront is bright and welcoming, a gleeming interior with a gorgeous array of eats.
They had a case loaded with cupcakes, muffins, donuts (including apple cider ones which we couldn’t resist), and cinnamon buns, but that wasn’t all.
They also had focaccia bread (we bought some and it was yummy) and gnocchi, which was marvelous to see.
I mean, it’s just so nice to have options (for the record, I believe that Three Wishes is the 2nd such bake shop of its kind in the Rhode Island area), especially when the makers specialize in small batch using tippity top quality ingredients.
And I think I speak for quite a few folks when I say more like THIS, please!
Find Three Wishes at 39 Greenville Avenue in Johnston, Rhode Island.
As always, if you zip over after reading this (they are closed on Mondays btw), please let them know you found them via Patty J and PattyJ.com.
