The Warren Restaurant Where You'll Want To Plant Yourself According To These RI Ladies

Introducing the 2 terrific women behind the new blog 2 Old Ladies RI, one of whom I used to work with back in my Nordstrom Providence Place days, and one of their recent food-related adventures…

Today’s viewing brought us on a walk from Barrington to Warren.

Of course we decided to go close to noontime instead of earlier in the day, but that’s the 2 Old Ladies’ time frame.

Our sweaty walk took us to a restaurant on Main Street called Rhody Roots.

Overall the menu has a good variety for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.

They have a different take on the classic Caesar salad: theirs features a cashew based dressing on the sweet side and also with a kick.

Maybe not for everyone but definitely DELICIOUS.

The lobster roll on a brioche bun with an aioli drizzle was VERY fresh!

And the hand-cut and made to order fries were nice and crispy.

The Chef also very kindly brought over an appetizer of fried pickles, a yummy must order (along with their signature dipping sauce) when dining at Rhody Roots.

The opinion of these 2 Old Ladies Rhode Island: If you’re looking for a local plant-based restaurant, this should be one of your go-to’s.
