The Folks Behind This Much Loved Food Truck Are Opening A Fab New Restaurant
Waffles On Wheels
Burgundian Coffee & Waffles launched as a food truck in 2017, ultimately popping up all over Rhode Island and Massachusetts with their scrumptious liege style creations, inspired by ones you might be feasting on if you were reading this from somewhere in Brussels. (See the Stacey Doyle photos below from the Spring 2019 Eat Drink RI Food Festival benefitting Food Bank RI.)
Regulars can’t get enough of their chicken and waffles and their sweet (the Nutella topped for ex.) and savory specials.
It’s also not unusual to hear the word BEST mentioned again and again when it comes to customer service and eats in any online reviews and in the real life ft chatter.
Where There’s A Waffle, There’s A Way
Tomorrow Burgundian (the name, according to their site, is intended as a nod to anyone who lives for not only indulging in food and drink but also sharing it all with friends) is officially opening the doors to their much anticipated eatery in nearby Attleboro, Massachusetts.
For starters, from what I hear, the space itself is exquisite! (It kinda sorta sounds like a cozy little restaurant you would stumble on in the West Village in NYC.)
Did Someone Say…
hearty meal on a chilly autumn afternoon or evening?
Yes, they have apparently continued their culinary expansion beyond the liege waffles, which has me intrigued.
Also, they have lotsa treats and surprises in store just for Thursday.
Finally, ya never know WHO you’ll see there on 11-11.
Find the brand-y new Burgundian at 55 Park Street in Attleboro, Massachusetts.
As always, if you zip over after reading this, please do let them know you found out via Patty J and PattyJ.com.
UPDATE
The hubs and I did indeed make it to the opening week of the NEW Burgundian restaurant in Downtown Attleboro in November 2021 and (no surprise) the waffles were sooooo good!
This year, they’ve actually been hosting a lot of special theme nights and pop-ups which sound absolutely fun-tastic.
Also, ps and btw, I ran into the owners in Providence a few weeks ago on one of their rare mornings off which is how I was inspired to repost this as a “best of” over on the Patty J FB.
