A Cuppa Summah

If you miss those those warm, bright sunny days at the SHORE, this cafe on West SHORE Road featuring whimsical, surf themed decor could be just the place.

I’ve been wanting to check it out for a while and yesterday afternoon we finally made it over to West Shore Coffee Bar in the Oakland Beach section of Warwick.

Open three years, they have become known for their creative menu of lattes that are essentially espresso-based shakes (I got the Fruity Pebbles one, see photos below) that you can get with or without whipped cream.

A nice Insta Worthy treat for a weekend or week day!

In addition to those, they have everything from small bits (pizza egg rolls) and breakfast sandwiches all day (a real plus if you ask me) to açaís bowls, traditional shakes, smoothies, and even craft beer.

Their kitschy and opposite coast inspired (🏄‍♀️) aesthetic is also a real hoot!

We spotted two surfboards inside — and a piece of one repurposed as an outside bench in front of the shop — along with a number of surfing themed prints, license plates, and assorted tchotchkes.

And they have their own signature tees, sweatshirts and hats, all of which would make a sweet gift for the foodie or food blogger on your list this season.

Craving somewhere NEW for your next coffee break or casual lunch?

Add this place to your November itinerary.
