The Emerging Local Photographer We Recently Spent The Day With In Providence

My name is Jessica Couture. Fresh from graduating with a degree in fine arts, specializing in design, I have found that I also have a passion for photography. Right before my last semester, I started working on my next project, JLC Photos, which is focused on providing seasonal photoshoots at all the best locations that our State has to offer. (There are many and I am always adding to my list.)

With that in mind, I’ve been reaching out to local influencers and bloggers (like Patty J), brainstorming possible collaborations for this summer and fall with a variety of people around Rhode Island, and putting the finishing touches on my website jlcphotos.com. I’m also sharing my work and behind the scenes glimpses of how I’m building my company on my official Facebook Page, I Am the Rebrand.

RI Favorite: Outdoors

I love living in West Greenwich! Nature is vital in that part of RI, and there are plenty of hikes to be taken in the  Arcadia Management Area (14,000 acres make it the largest outdoor recreational area in the state) including at Stepstone Falls.

RI Favorite: Dinner Spot

My all-time favorite place to eat is the Ocean House, located in Watch Hill. After dinner, I like to head over to the WH Lighthouse and watch the sunset. 

RI Favorite: Shopping

My favorite shopping area is Garden City in Cranston: They have Starbucks, Sephora, Victoria’s Secret, and White House Black Market, all in one walkable locale. What more could a girl ask for?
