We Had A Yummy Breakfast At This New Restaurant In Warwick, Rhode Island
I heart a greattt pancake breakfast.
The hubs is more partial to French toast.
And we’re always looking for yet another spot where we can indulge our love of brekkie food.
That being said, I’m here to tell you about a brand-y NEW restaurant on Post Road that just opened their doors, that serves breakfast every single day until 2pm. (I mean, WHO feels like rushing out of the house to get their hands on a hot plate of eggs and toast or an eggs Benny because of an early cut-off?)
Greenwich Cove Kitchen — formerly Masthead Grille — is a delicious destination for a casual and unpretentious morning, afternoon or dinner time nosh.
Their menu is chock full of classic dishes as well as cd’s with twists that are sure to satisfy even the most persnickety eater in your inner circle. (We all have that one person who seemingly lives to send food back, oy!)
Throw on your go-to fall shacket (that’s a shirt-jacket, wink) and denim and motor on over to this relaxed and easygoing eatery in Warwick.
Now, I ordered a pancake plate (no whipped cream ty v. much, just not fan of that whole thing) and must tell you that these were some of the absolute best flapjacks I’ve dipped into in ages.
Also, Tom’s French toast was gorgeous (see photo below) and tasted just as amazing.
Yum, yum, YUM!
PS — The history of the Greenwich Cove section is also pretty darn interesting. Highly recommend falling down that rabbit hole when you need a mini work break this week.
