The Tiny Coffee Shop In Providence That's Celebrating Their 6 Month Anniversary

Back in 2016, I was in NYC for some Fashion Week shows and whilst there also took some time to do a little cafe hopping, visiting about a half dozen highly regarded (and frequently Instagrammed) ones, including a number of micro coffee shops in the Nolita neighborhood.

Well, circle back to last year (6 months ago, to be exact) and WE got our very own tiny and sleek (big city-esque if you will) coffee stop in the capital city.

Little City is located on a pretty tree-lined side street (reminiscent of one on the Upper West Side or maybe in the West Village, also home to the largest used and rare book store in the whole entire state, Cellar Stories that’s been in biz for over 35 yrs.) in Providence.

Grab a latte (they have a full menu of all the classic coffee drinks as well as oat milk which is my go-to) and a nosh from their menu of creative and whimsical sweets (Dirty Chai Mini Bundt Cake that also happens to be vegan for the win).

And if I may be so bold, their selection of baked-on-the-premises-from-scratch treats will knock your socks off.

Srsly.

What more could you want from locally owned and operated java (and tea) storefront?

Find Little City Coffee & KItchen at 170 Mathewson Street in Downtown Providence. They are open Thursday thru Monday until 3pm.
