The Pawtucket Micro Bakery Where You Can Grab Some Marvelous Pies

I jump when someone offers me a piece of pie, but making a crust is not high on my list of to-do’s this spring. (Or ever, to be really honest.)

If you’re on that same page, then you will want to add PVD Pies to favorites pronto.

Homemade taste without all the hassles. (The clean-up alone, oh dee!)

Open since 2020, this tiny bake shop tucked away in Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket has quietly been winning people over with their made-from-scratch creations including Chicken Pot, Sheperd’s and Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Pies.

Regulars are also going gaga over their latest creations including Strawberry Rhubarb and Key Lime.

And because they are perfectly sized for one person, you can enjoy on your own in front of the telie or whilst working on your laptop. (For the record, I also spotted a few larger — “family” sized if you will — pies last time I was there.)

Or make everyone in your world happy by picking up a variety of different ones as a spring (or summertime) treat.

The owner, Gina, also offers Take And Bake Pies, so all you have to do is pre-heat the oven and pop them in until they’re sufficiently warmed.

She even takes special orders.

I’m planning on going back with some cash (last time I stopped by, I only had a cc and they weren’t taking credit cards at that point…this may have changed, you might want to call 1st to inquire ) and picking up some pies for my momma as well as something for myself.

On my wish list would of course be something for lunch or din din without meat.

PVD Pies has weekly specials and is open Tuesday thru Friday, from 12 to 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm.

As always, if you take a Rhode trip over after reading this, please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
