A New Coffee Shop Just Opened In Newport And It Sounds Amazing

DEJA BREW

An old friend (another lovely from my days as a Nordstrom manager) recently reached out to let me know that there’s a brand-y new micro cafe on the water in Newport (in the space formerly occupied by Coffee Grinder) and I couldn’t be more excited.

Springline Coffee, a family owned and Rhode Island based company that sprung from their love of the ocean and all things nautical, has indeed set up shop at 33 Bannister’s Wharf — and they are serving hot and cold coffee drinks from beans roasted in small batches right here in Lil Rhody.

I mean, you can’t get more LOCAL (or great quality) than that, amirite?

In addition to classic sips, you can grab pastries, yogurt, and a variety of other light bites and snacks. After walking the Wharf and Thames, who among us couldn’t use a little nosh and a cuppa Joe?

Furthermore, as you might already know, that spot (with its wooden Adirondacks created by Thomas Lee back in 1903 and views of incredibly beautiful boats) is a gorgeous Ocean State location for either kicking back and unplugging for a bit or (at the opposite end) taking a mad amount of pics and video for your social app or apps of choice.

And you can even take home a bag or two of their beans to brew up at home.

I’ll be checking in from there over on IG real soon, too. (Stay tuned!)
