We Revisited This Wonderful Wakefield, Rhode Island Coffeehouse On The Water
The Locals ❤️ This Place!
Back in 2020, I took a wrong turn en route to somewhere in the Gansett area (file it under those times when you get cocky and think you don’t need gps) and ended up (HAPPILY) at Java Madness on Salt Pond Road in Wakefield, overlooking the Salt Pond Marina.
The hubs and I went back again recently and I highly recommend it for your next morning or mid afternoon iced coffee, tea, nosh, or all of the above.
Another ringing endorsement? A local entrepreneur friend says she ALWAYS stops at Java Madness for iced vanilla chai after the Narragansett Farmers Market.
They have cozy indoor seating, local art on the walls, a nifty fish tank, and a huge outdoor deck where on one Saturday afternoon this summer, the owner and his friends were having a fun jam session. (See photo below).
I love their lattes (yes, they do have oat milk), scones and muffins, and they even have a veggie sandwich (helloooo, something for every taste and eating style or plan).
It’s a fa-brew-lous late summer/early autumn spot to meet friends: You can sit out on the deck and just enjoy drinks, food, the sunshine, and those views.
Java Madness (last I checked) is open 7 days, from 7am to 6pm.
Find JM at 134 Salt Pond Road in Wakefield, Rhode Island.
