The Warwick Tea Room For A Wonderful Afternoon With Your Friends This Winter

I posted a while back about wanting to visit this classic tea room in Warwick and thanks to my friend Ginny, my dream finally became a reality (hip, hip, hooray!) this winter.

Can I just say that Trinity Confections Tea in Gateway Plaza on Warwick Avenue books up quickly?

And for great reason!

For starters, the owner is beyond nice and made us feel at home instantly. (She happily obliged when we asked if she would take some photos and videos of us for social. Much appreciated.)

The space itself is comfortable, cozy and inviting with its muted color palette, antique-y wood furniture, and lamp lighting.

As far as drink and food, of course we indulged in multiple pots of delicious tea but that was just the beginning.

After the first pot of tea arrived, we were each treated to a cup of yummy soup (perfect on a chilly November day in RI…mine was the vegetarian tomato you see below) and slices of made-from-scratch quiche.

Absolutely delectable!

And this was before the three (3) tier tray of savory and sweet bites was set down on our table.

That tray?

Tiny Sandwiches, BIG Taste: The tray on its own was a winning celebration of traditional tea eats with its scrumptious finger sandwiches, mouthwatering scones, and top tier of flavorful minis (cupcakes and such).

When it was time to go, the owner sent us on our way with some tiny tins of holiday tea.

Come on, how fantastic was that?

Such a nice touch.

If you’re looking for a relaxing way to spend an afternoon with a fellow tea fan this winter, Trinity is definitely blog and friend excursion worthy.

But, again, you’ll want to reserve something way in advance because they are wildly popular for daytime sittings and special events like wedding and baby showers.

Find Trinity Confections at 1625 Warwick Avenue in Warwick, Rhode Island.
