A Sweet Farmstand In Scituate, Rhode Island You'll Want To Visit This Fall
Blanchard Farm in Scituate (RI) has new owners — and they’ve really given it an incredible makeover.
We stopped by yesterday and I was wowed by the ginormous fall display in the field next to the stand. (See photos above).
It features a huge wooden pumpkin with a shuttered window and 2 Jack-O-Lantern headed creatures, as well as a charming cart overflowing with pumpkins and mums, accented with lotsa bales of hay..
I mean, you are going to want to go and take photos and videos here soon because it’s beautifully made and looks amazing on camera.
As if that wasn’t enough, the new family behind this spot has brought in some of the best food from around Rhode Island, namely pasta from Venda (helloooooo, pumpkin ravioli), Italian bread from Buono’s, Hank’s Peanut Butter, and more.
In addition you can also pick up organic gourmet cheese from around the world and around the country.: Think Pecorino Romano from Sardinia. Parmesan from Modena, Italy. And other delectable varities from Spain and Washngton State.
Making it an absolutely wonderful destination for super fans of fall AND FOODIES. It’s very autumnal meets epicurean. (I simply can’t think of any other farm or stand that carries anything close to what they are offering.)
And of course, you can grab delectable pies, colorful pumpkins and gourds, lovely mums and fresh veggies.
