There's A New Art Studio On Wheels With Classes For Kids And Wow

From The Road To Rhode Island

This RI artist has converted a camper (in which she and her family traveled the country for more than six months, see pics below) to a colorful art studio that’s coming to your city or town, starting this Spring.

Yes, Ashley Ernest’s Creative Wanderings Art is hosting classes for kids 5 to 12, teaching painting, sewing, illustration, book-making, and more.

Art On Wheels

This art mobile gets rolling in May, and you’ll find them at the Barrington Art/Street Festival (June 11th, 10 to 3pm), Field of Artisan’s General’s Market in Charleston (at the General Stanton Inn on June 4th and then again on July 2nd), & also at Mandala Way in Newport this summer.

And you can book them for kids parties, too. (How FUN would that be?)

Ashley has a BA from Rhode Island College, an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, and has worked as an artist and art educator for 20+ years. The 1st photo above was taken in Yellow Springs, Ohio when Ashley & fam (husband Matthew and son Tate) were living in their RV for 6.5 months.
