We Visited A Darling Cookie Cafe In Providence The Other Day
Feed The Cheeks (the buzz-y shop on Wayland Square with the pink wall phone and vibe, and ginormous cookies, that practically everyone you know has been checking in from the last few years) has opened a second location off Thayer, and I was there the other day with a great friend from my Nordstrom Providence days.
My friend is a super fan of the original spot on Wayland Avenue, so we made plans to have lunch at Andreas first (food and service were both top shelf, in case you were wondering, also get the spinach pie appetizer) and then head on over to the new-ish Cookie Cafe at 190 Angell Street.
The space itself is impressive, situated in one of the newer building in that neck of the woods, and no surprise, the aesthetic is very PINK: Pink walls. Pink coffee machine. Pink chairs. Pink counter. You get the idea, lol.
You can even pick up some branded merch like a sweatshirt with a Feed The Cheeks logo.
But I’m really here to talk about the COOKIES.
I ordered 4 of the minis which like the enormous ones have a slightly crispy outside and a pillow-y soft and entirely flavorful inside, and that’s what has local folks and visitors alike falling head over heels for these sweets.
Love at 1st bite in other words!
I mean, I ate three (the choc chip, the cookie dough and cream, and the funfetti) of those miniatures in 4 or 5 short minutes; they were THAT GOOD.
Well worth a pop in if you or someone in your circle lives for great cookies.
