The Del's In Warren, Rhode Island Has Had A Glow Up And It Looks Gorgeous

The Del’s on Child Street in Warren, Rhode Island has new owners and it’s gotten a glow-up that you have to see to believe.

I mean, I can’t be the only one who ever drove by prior to this renovation and meditated on how great that little shop could be.

Anywho, after someone tipped me off about their official grand opening on Thursday (May 11th), I hopped in the car and motored over.

Let me just tell you that as I walked up the bike path, it sure looked as though everyone sitting on the benches that line that area had a Del’s in their hands.

Now known as Del’s Depot, this completely refurbished stand is a beaut!

It’s all new from top to bottom, and I almost gasped at the attention to detail: One example, the tiny seats near the takeout window and how the letter D (for Del’s) is part of the metal work that attachs each seat to the building.

The exterior is indeed superb (flowers, signs, a mural), but you must walk through the front door and experience ordering at the counter and shopping all the great Del’s merch off to the side.

Yes, upon entering this darling 21st century take on a lemonade stand, I was greeted by the team behind the counter and told about the menu options for the day.

I opted for the classic lemon flavor (bc I tend to lean into the traditional when it comes to my beverages) and nothing tastes better than an ice cold Del’s on an 80 degree day in the Ocean State.

Also, special shoutout to the young woman behind the counter who helped me with video, lol.

If you do one thing this weekend, you really must check out the Del’s Depot in Warren on Saturday or Sunday.
