Latte Flights Have Landed In Cranston, Rhode Island
I’ve written about beer flights (most recently at Whaler’s in Wakefield), ice cream flights (bookmark Wright’s silver trailer — is it an AIRSTREAM? — in Warren, adjacent to the Blount food truck, for the milder months) and now (applause, applause) LATTE FLIGHTS.
Yes, coffee lovers your time has FINALLY come.
One of my favorite cafes in Cranston, family owned and latin inspired, is taking things to whole other level with delectable flights in a delightfully stylish atmosphere. (Every other city on the East Coast has cafes offering these, so it’s about time they landed here in Lil Rhody, ya know?)
CAFE AVA is marvelous with beaucoup style (they have a colorful mural on the back wall, a playful swing, and several neon signs which would be terrif backdrops for your next selfie for social), yet another reason to G-O.
It’s a fab opportunity to try multiple coffee drinks (their COQUITO, TRES LECHES & ABUELITA’S LATTES are popular orders) and share with a friend who would appreciate a coffee shop meet-up there.
And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that all the cakes, muffins, and sweets are baked up by the mom of one of the owners.
Regulars rave about the lattes (get them in a flight starting on Friday, January 12th), the cold brew, the flan, the blueberry muffins, the carrot cake, and more.
Find CAFE AVA at 48b Rolfe Square in Cranston, RI.
