We Had Second Breakfast At This Cozy Pawtucket Cafe

If you get a table at this darling Pawtucket eatery, consider yourself lucky.

Seriously.

The hubs and I slipped in about an hour before they were scheduled to close and the stars must have been aligned because we ended up getting seated at the only available table.

Needless to say, they were packed and I couldn’t believe our very good fortune.

The Rhody Hen on Prospect Street in Pawtucket is so cute inside — and has also been featured on the Phantom Gourmet, a real feather in their cap, but I didn’t find out about that tidbit until after our 1st visit.

Anywho, their veggie omelette was one of the absolute tastiest I’ve ever eaten. EV-AHHHH! (File this one under “I Can’t Believe It Took Me So Long To Get Here.”)

And our wait person was fantastic, just pleasant and so on point.

The hubs loved his classic egg brekkie too. (That’s saying a lot because he can be pretty picky.)

Beyond the omelettes at Rhody Hen, regulars go gaga over their Benedicts, French Toast, fish & chips, brunch sips, and their famous daily specials.

They also have a 2nd location in EP which I’ve added to my Spring 2024 wish list, so stay tuned for that, 😉 .
