The Sweet Burrillville, Rhode Island Restaurant For Tacos And Burritos
Who knew there are nine — count ‘em 9 — villages in Burrillville, RI?
Not this Rhody native!
Anywho, we motored over to Harrisville (the other 8 are Pascoag, Oakland, Mapleville, Glendale, Mohegan, Wallum Lake, Bridgeton and Nasonville) and happened upon the sweetest taco shop.
Cut to the embarrassing part where I ask the woman behind the counter who took our order at The Taco Shop how many years they’ve been open (because I thought they might be new or new-ish) and she says 10 years.
Oops, my bad, lol.
Lots of folks popping in for takeout while we were feasting on their Crunch WRAP (I asked for a meatless version) and a vegetarian burrito.
Also, they carry a nice variety of Jarritos sodas from Mexico which really impressed me.
Everything’s made fresh and the portions are pretty generous — that burrito was big enough for two people to share (although I’d rather not share anything ever) and walk away full.
Regulars go gaga over their Taco Tuesday and daily specials, their chips and guac, their garden quesdilla, and the salads.
The Taco Shop is open Tuesday thru Saturday, and is located at 459 Chapel Street in Burrillville, RI.
