The Fairy Tea Party In Coventry, Rhode Island Happening During February Vacation
A Fairy Tale Tea Where You Can Take The Kids Next Week
We first stumbled on the adorable Fairview Garden Center in Coventry (RI) a few years ago and I remember freaking out (in the best possible way, of course) after spotting it from the car window as we were driving by en route to somewhere else. I mean, that gives you some idea of how DELIGHTFUL it looks from the street.
The darling grounds and little shop on Fairview Avenue are both fab — and locals flock there during the summer (the frontage is so lush and colorful) and over the holidays.
That being said, it’s also a superb destination for the upcoming February school vacation because they have rolled out a fun-tastic itinerary including (drum roll, prettty please) a FAIRY TEA PARTY.
Take the little ones to this sweet afternoon event where they get to dress up in costumes (they have a wide variety of what they call “fancy fairy attire” as well as heels and other whimsical accessories), nibble on some sweets (cookies and such), sip tea, and craft lovely FLOWER CROWNS from actual fresh blooms (nothing plastic or fake, folks).
It takes place on Saturday, Feb. 17th and tickets are available now. Also, I hear if you buy by Feb. 11th, you get a 20% discount off.
Go to FairviewGardensRI.com/eventsandworkshops/ for complete details. PS — There are other goings-on that week, too, if you and the kiddies would rather make tie-dye art or canvas self portraits.
Find Fairview Garden Ctr at 429 Fairview Avenue in Coventry, Rhode Island.
