The Other Day In North Providence
I grew up eating doughboys (1/2 Italian American) as did my husband (100% Italian American).
So, when we found out that there is a NEW food truck in Rhode Island that specializes in them, we zipped over.
My 3 Sons Doughboys, located at the corner of Mineral Spring Avenue & Charles Street, is a cozy spot with some outside seating (even the trash cans are painted red, white and green!) where you can get not only dessert style fried dough but also some savory versions that could very well be DINNER on a hot summer night. (I mean, why go back home and put the oven on? It’s just gonna make the house that much hotter.)
Choose from their original (the classic) or sweet ones like their “Nutty Italian” (made with Nutella).
How about a pizza doughboy or a chicken topped version for din din?
During the week, they usually open around 5pm (we went too early but we’ll be back soon) and then on the weekends, the start time is approximately 3pm.

Also, this is a cash only food truck right now, so do plan accordingly.
Prices range from $10 to $14 depending on toppings, add-ons.
