A Cute Diner In Cumberland For Breakfast, Coffee, And Lunch

the other day at Ollie’s

We finally made it to this cute diner in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

Ollie’s (I hear the owner named it after his dog which I find charming) on High Street checks all the boxes when it comes to classic diner food, service and ambiance.

First thing we noticed is their eye-catching and colorful mural on the side of the building (see photo below).

More importantly, though, we were seated immediately (table and counter seating available) and their menu is packed with classic American dishes like omelets, egg sandwiches, pancakes, and more.

Also, I hear both the hash and the hollandaise sauce are made-in-house which is not the norm these days.

My husband ordered a cheese omelet and I got the pancakes without the powdered sugar.

Our food was brought out pipping hot and super quick.

Gotta say, huge portions — and the pancakes and that omelet were both FLUFFY.

I mean, what’s not to love?

Regulars also rave about their fuit salad, home fries, French toast, fish and chip Fridays, and more.

If you’re looking for a new spot for casual breakfast and lunch (they are open Tuesday thru Sunday from 7am to 2pm), then bookmark Ollie’s.

Find Ollie’s at 802 High Street in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
