Text Your Friend Who's a Fan Of French Everything Because This New Spot In Cranston
Every week, starting on Thursday evenings, this French-inspired neighborhood creperie in Pawtuxet Village transforms into a lounge where you can grab sweet or savory crepes and other small plates along with a superbly crafted cocktail, glass of wine, or your favorite beer.
Yes, the Crepe Corner on Broad Street has introduced a new nighttime concept called Soiree Belge and it’s very Frankie Shop (a fab but not world famous casual FRENCH clothing brand) meets a first rate Kir Royale (on the SB menu by the way, in case you wondered) meets Brutus, a cozy crepe shop by day that serves up drinks at night, with quite the following, that’s located at 99 Rue des Dames in the 17th arrondisement in Paris.
The Soiree Belge drink menu also includes 6 or 7 different martinis (!!!) as well as a bunch of other classic spirits and sips.
If you haven’t been to CC for breakfast or lunch, let me just say that the crepes are nothing short of amazing, and they offer not only vegetarian and vegan but also gluten free ones.
Oh la la!
In addition, they make everything from scratch in-house, including their nut free pesto and a chocolate and hazelnut spread that gives Nutella a real run for its money.
And you can of course expect that same attention to detail and quality when it comes to the evening eats at SB.
It’s a mellow and relaxing atmosphere where you can plant yourself with your crew this fall and winter and just forget your cares for a while, the next best thing to hopping a flight to Charles de Gaulle and hightailing it past the Arc de Triomphe for crepes and a cidre.
Soiree Belge is located at 2170 Broad Street in Cranston every Thursday, Friday & Saturday night.
