Staycation at The Beatrice in Providence?

When the chance came my way, dear readers, I did not hesitate. (I may have done a little happy dance, wink. I definitely did not think twice about saying YES, though.)

Open since last October, this luxe hotel in the financial district in downtown PVD is stunningly beautiful but not at all stuffy.

The team was so welcoming (my husband was actually chatting with the folks at the desk and other guests at one point, recommending different spots in the city, lol) and our room (the Van Gogh Suite, part of a signature experience that included passes to Beyond Van Gogh Providence at the RI Convention Center, a bottle of Beyond Van Gogh vino from Anchor & Hope, and more) was dreamy!

The hubs was only too happy to kick back on the ginormous bed and relax with some sports (baseball?) on the big screen tv while I was getting ready for drinks on the rooftop (the amazing private club up on the roof is indeed open to guests of the hotel, yet another reason to book something this summer) and later, a stroll over to the Convention Center to see Beyond Van Gogh Prov.

All the rooms are outfitted with state of the art coffee makers, thermostats (I like it cool and the hubs likes it a little warmer), and bathrooms. We LOVED the sleek shower and dare-I-say the heated toilet seat. And the comfy plush robes monogrammed with the letter B.

The Bellini cocktail (from Bellini….helloooo, who isn’t obsessed with that restaurant these days?) was yum and I cannot wait to go back for dinner with the hubs or a nice weekend brunch with my friends. (PS — The bartender upstairs at Bellini Club also made me a Starry Night, a terrific Van Gogh sip with a dash of glitter. I was dazzled by that drink, the ambiance, and the marvelous views of the city where I was born.) The new outdoor tables for al fresco dining on Westminster are on my Summer 2022 wish list, too.

The takeaway? We are over the moon about our stay at The Beatrice! (Beaucoup thanks to everyone who made it possible.)
