The Providence Biscuit Pop Up Opening A Permanent Shop Very Soon
New in Providence
Fancy a fluffy and warm Southern style biscuit baked from scratch? How about sandwich-ing an egg and a slice or two of cheese in one?
Well, the brand NEW Irregardless Biscuit storefront on Carpenter Street on the West Side of Providence will be open shortly. (You may remember they started as a buzzy Sunday morning pop-up in the nearby Tailor Shop space that’s next door to Broadway Bistro.)
They have renovated the space formerly occupied by KITCHEN (who remembers the lines down the block on Saturdays and Sundays? also, the time John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan popped in for breakfast back when he played PPAC in 2016…), and I bet the lines will once again be out the door and up the street.
And there could possibly be some juicy celebrity sightings, who knows?
Psssst…LOVE the lighted sign in the front window that lets you know if they are open or closed.
Fans of these makers live for their Strawberry Butter (such a treat!), Biscuit with Butter & Hot Honey (yummmm), and of course they offer sammies with fried chicken and such for all of you non-vegetarians out there in Rhody land.
I stopped by the other day (see photo at the tippity top) and the exterior is looking so GREAT.
They’re not officially open just yet, but I recommend keeping an eye on their social for details about the big day.
Find Irregardless Biscuit at 94 Carpenter Street in Providence, Rhode Island.
If you go when they open (AGAIN THEY ARE NOT OPEN YET 😆 ), please let them know you were inspired by Patty J and PattyJ.com.
